This summer is an important opportunity for students to connect with each other and express themselves. Theatre 31 recognizes the power of theatre education, and the underlying Social Emotional Learning it provides.

Our mission is to provide fun, non-competitive, all-inclusive theatre arts camps that give students an opportunity to strengthen their abilities to perform and collaborate, enhance their skills of interpersonal awareness, and build self-confidence.

This summer, we are offering several one-week in-person camps.

We will not be offering distance learning camps, but we will offer a weekly distance learning class that will begin in June. More information will be posted soon.

Each camp day will include Acting, Improv/Comedy, Theatre Games, Singing, Vocal Training, Dance and more.

Parents provide any costumes or special dress. Children must bring a snack for midmorning break, a bottle of water, and a sack lunch.

Kids Choice Cabaret
(Students will choose scenes & songs from their favorite musicals to learn and perform)

Due to the complications of live performance that the COVID-19 pandemic presents, we are not envisioning a presentation with a live audience. In the place of a live performance, we plan to record the last day of each camp session, and will create a video that will be distributed to all families involved.

There is a cap of 15 STUDENTS PER CAMP SESSION. To ensure your spot, please enroll early, and spread the word to friends and family members to ensure that your child/ren has/have the opportunity to experience camp with the people they would like to.

COVID-19 Protocol

Prior to attending camp, each student must send documented proof of a COVID-19 test for which they have tested negative.

Before each camp day, all indoor areas of our camp, restrooms, and outdoor areas where children sit and eat, will be thoroughly cleaned. We will also clean any “high touch surfaces” throughout the day.

Any indoor areas of our camp will be ventilated with outdoor air. Windows and (if appropriate) doors will be open, and fans and an air filter will be used to increase effectiveness.

Each morning, we ask that parents/guardians take their children’s temperature before coming to camp. Our instruction team will meet families at our entry area and ask them to sign a Daily Health Screening document. Any individual who identifies with one or more symptoms of COVID-19 or has been exposed to a person with COVID-19, will not be allowed to attend camp.

Students will be asked to follow the latest CDC prevention strategies including proper use of masks and physical distancing.

Students will be asked to wash their hands upon arrival at camp, and will be asked to do so before and after each break throughout the day.

Our instruction team will keep supplies such as hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, paper towels, tissues, and no-touch trash cans readily available throughout each camp day.

Our instruction team is fully vaccinated.
