THEATRE ARTS

“Theatre students make a character, scene, or story – real or imagined – come alive, share it with others, analyze and evaluate the product, and connect the experience to other contexts of meaning.”

VISUAL ARTS

“Visual arts may include the traditional fine arts such as drawing, painting, ceramics, metals, printmaking, fiber arts, photography, sculpture, works in wood, and mixed media.”

MEDIA ARTS

“Media arts may include the following disciplines: video, animation, web design, graphic design, virtual design, and interactive design.”

DANCE

“Students transform concepts and ideas into movement for artistic expression, and gain a greater personal connection to the socio-cultural and political meanings and expressions of dance.”

MUSIC

“Students make music come alive by either singing, listening, playing, moving, reading and/or composing. They make musical decisions, think critically about them, and relate to them personally.”
